Hi! I'm Billy Durden

 

I'm a film and video editor with a range in both short and long form projects. This site will give you a look under the hood at the postproduction workflows of the projects I have edited. I graduated from Chapman University with a MFA in Film Production (Editing Emphasis) in 2015. My advisor was Paul Seydor A.C.E. During my time at Chapman I interned in the motion graphics department at Universal Pictures under Paul Luna. My thesis film, Straw Dolls, won Best Drama in the 37th College Emmys. I have experience in editing shorts, promos, documentaries, feature films, and assistant editing.
